What is Lipari Vintage Eyewear?

Our first store, Ottica Lipari, was established in Marsala, Sicily (Italy) in 1897 by the Lipari family. Over the years, the three generations of shop owners have kept unsold stock and iconic pieces, curating a brilliant, extensive collection of vintage designer eyewear. 

Are vintage sunglasses safe?

Yes, they are. Both the frames and the lenses are made of premium materials, which have perfectly lasted for decades.

What are considered vintage eyeglasses & sunglasses?

Eyeglasses and sunglasses are considered 'vintage' when they are 20+ years old. Our store offers a curated selection of premium pieces, from the 1950s to the early 2000s, in line with the latest fashion trends.

Are Lipari Vintage Eyewear glasses authentic and unworn?

Of course! Our sunglasses have been carefully kept in our stock, never worn and in perfect condition. Please read through the item description to see if the piece you like may have small marks from time.

How do I know if a model fits me?

Please read through the description, where you’ll find the item measurements. Keep in mind that each piece can be adjusted according to your face by a professional optician.

I am not sure if a specific model suits my face. What can I do to find out?

Reach out to us, we'll give us our best advice according to your face type and/or we can show you how it fits on our beautiful team members :)

What comes with my order?

The sunglasses you purchase come in a branded case, including cloth to keep them nice and clean. ;)

Can I mount prescription lenses on Lipari Vintage Eyewear glasses?

It depends on the model you chose and on your prescription. Please reach out to us to make sure the item you chose can mount prescription lenses.

Shipping, Returns & Exchanges

All our orders are safely shipped with UPS. You’ll be provided a tracking code to follow closely your shipment.

What is the shipping policy?

Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know that our fulfillment team has received your order. Once your order is fulfilled, you will receive an email notification with your tracking information.

Do you ship overseas?

Yes, we ship all over the world. And the best part is that shipping is FREE!

Who pays for custom fees? (For shipments outside of the EU only)

The buyer is responsible for paying the additional costs such as duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

Please note that given the items we sell are never-worn vintage and rare pieces, in order to protect our customers and ensure that the items are indeed new and never worn, we do not accept any returns and refunds for any circumstances besides the below: 

Item is not as described or damaged
Please inspect your order immediately upon reception and contact us within 3 days if the item is not as described (damage during transport or received the wrong item), so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. If you notice your item is not as described, please let us know and we will arrange for you to return the item. 

Refunds 
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your returned item, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Exchanges 
Exchanges are not possible as most of our stock are unique pieces.
